| Additional Tuition Pattern Information: | The workshops will be taught in 3 modules consisting of 4x3h blocks over 2 consecutive days for three weeks. |
| Syllabus: | An overview of qualitative research within the social sciences. This includes an overview of the ontological and epistemological underpinnings of research. Commonly used qualitative research methodologies including case studies, grounded theory, action research, narrative studies amongst others will be reviewed. Qualitative data collection methods including common and emerging methods will be examined, along with options for analysis and CAQDAS. The essential aspects of rigour, relevance, research design, ethics and impact will all be reviewed. |
