STRU-ENVPM v.1 Environment Pre-major (BSc Science)
Major/Stream Overview
This major/stream is part of a larger course. Information is specific to the major/stream, please refer to the course for more information.
Students who wish to study Biological Science, Biochemistry, Coastal and Marine Science or Environmental Science must enrol in this pre-major. It provides students with the foundation knowledge and skills necessary to pursue their interest in these areas of science.
Major/Stream Entry and Completion Details
Specifically, applicants require TEE Discrete Mathematics or Mathematics 2C/2D, and a TEE Science subject or a Science course of study- Level 3A/3B.

* ELECTIVES should be chosen carefully to meet requirements for future studies and meet prerequisites for second year units.
** For students who have completed Mathematics 3A/3B and for students wishing to do the Environmental Science Major in Year 2.
+ Students who have completed Mathematics 3C/3D and have achieved a mark >75% should do MATH1004 Mathematics 1.
++ The following Semester 2 unit may be taken as an elective and is essential for students seeking to do the Environmental Sciecne Major: CHEM1002 Reactivity and Funciton in Chemistry. See your course coordinator for more information.
