Syllabus: | This unit introduces students to ways in which information and communication technologies can impact upon learning and teaching. It equips them with the knowledge and skills to use a range of software and hardware technologies effectively in educational contexts. These technologies will be characterized as tools for enhancing the quality of learning experiences, increasing teaching effectiveness, and fostering professional development. The unit will focus upon approaches to the utilization, development and evaluation of electronic educational resources that are applicable across a broad range of learning areas. |
