Syllabus:	The design of maintenance systems, including preventive, predictive, proactive and corrective maintenance methods, as well as basic reliability theory and models for optimising maintenance decisions. Specific topics to be covered include: Physical assets, Asset management strategy, Asset management tactics, Asset management process and organisation, Asset management measurement, Control & improvement, Spares and repairs management, Contracts and contractor management, Electrical distribution systems, Hydraulic systems, Compressed Air, Mine water management, Mine communications.
