Syllabus:	Bulk material handling systems in mining and mineral industries. Bin, hopper and feeder design. Flow characteristics of materials. Conveying and conveyors. Belt selection and monitoring. Pumps for slurry transport. Pump selection. Pneumatic conveying systems.
