Syllabus: | This unit covers the study of the female genital tract and introduces non gynaecological cytology of the respiratory and the urinary tract. The course includes lectures and practical microscopic lab sessions. Topics include the cytological features of normal cells, inflammation and infection including specific microorganisms, atypia, intraepithelial neoplasia and malignancy. |
