| Syllabus: | Advanced exploration of 'community' as a site for professional practice, service delivery and community partnership. Critical exploration and practical assessment of strategies including community profiles; asset-mapping; working in partnership and identifying and working with community networks. The unit incorporates a community project component comprising a supervised class project providing: practical experience in completing a project and meeting specified project aims, tasks, timelines and reporting requirements. Lecturer/tutor provides project mentoring. |
