Syllabus: Psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders and therapeutic interventions for mental illness across the lifespan. Psychosocial, political, environmental, economic effects on mental health and illness of clients and families. Client screening, assessment, management, consultation, referral and evacuation. State Acts of Parliament and regulations pertaining to nursing mental health clients. Substance use and mental health, stress management and personal safety. Counselling, and multicultural and indigenous issues.
