Syllabus: | A general introduction to early childhood learning and teaching and the curriculum underpinning current practice. Current developments in planning and implementation will be studied from an Australian, West Australian and international perspective as documented in the Curriculum Framework. An emphasis on literacy and numeracy instruction will be addressed. Students attend a three hour workshop per week and a one day practical in the Early Learning Centres each week. |
