Syllabus: Practical experience in counselling psychology will be gained via supervised placements in settings where counselling is the most frequently used therapeutic procedure. Students are required to complete three placements, consisting of at least 1000 hours (125 days) of supervised client contact in three different settings. Each trainee should have opportunities to work in a range of applied settings.
