Quantitative and qualitative modes of research and evaluation in the study of teaching. Models of the teaching process and designs for research on teaching. Current research into teacher and student interaction, teacher planning and cognitive processing. The theory and practice of selected strategies of teaching. Methods of curriculum and course evaluation. School improvement programs.
