Syllabus:

Students will survey a mine lease and underground mine. Survey should include - boundary survey, shaft plumbing, bearing check survey using a gyro-theodolite, EDM traversing, stope survey and levelling. The work will also include calculations associated with the above surveys and preparations of mine plans and sections. All surveying documentation will be collated in a form of a written final report.
