Syllabus:

Explores constructions of young people within 20th century Australia, and how such representations became embodied within discourses of youth welfare. Issues of gender, sexuality, cultural heritage, class and disabilities will be explored in relation to cultural production and the creation of youth subjectivites. Ideas for working creatively with young people in the social domain are also explored.
