Introduction to legal studies. Concepts and sources of law. Basic principles of the law of contract as it relates to engineers. The duty of care for engineers and the concept of negligence. Aspects of employment law. Intellectual property. Designs, patents, inventions and copyright in engineering. Enforcing rights to intellectual property. |
