Oil and gas exploration geophysics - elastic properties of rocks. Seismic refraction - horizontal and dripping layers, delay time method and field practice. Seismic reflection - geophone arrays, CMP method, static corrections, velocity analysis, deconvolution, multiple attenuation and migration. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Introduction to geophysical methods. Collecting and displaying geophysical data. Gravity - theory, acquisition and interpretation. Gravity field exercise. Magnetics - theory, acquisition and interpretation. Magnetic field exercise. Electrical properties of rocks. Self potential.
