Change theory. Focus on a woman centred, midwifery managed approach to maternity care. Impact of legal and ethical issues on practice. Midwifery and politics. International, national and local decision making strategies in maternity care. Midwifery education and strategic leadership. Collaborative workforce issues. Childbirth governance and the law. Ethical dilemmas in midwifery practice. Contemporary care modalities. The challenge of change and influencing the future.
