Syllabus: |
Introduction to the wide area of communication in general and academic and business communication in particular. Focuses upon the process of communication which includes skills in speaking and listening, various forms of writing such as reports, essays and organisational communication. Conflict management, group decision making and negotiation processes are also investigated in order to provide students with basic communication skills which are necessary in the workplace and in tertiary study. |
