Introduction to macroeconomics, the circular flow of income, nature, function and importance of money, measures of aggregate income, aggregate equilibrium and a simple Keynesian model, the multiplier, accelerator, and a Keynesian view of the business cycle, money and its relation to the main economic aggregates, the balance of payments and the exchange rate, introduction to government policy instruments and critique of current economic theory and policy. |
