This course is designed for CPA professionals wanting to develop skills in identifying, analysing and developing strategies for management opportunities and problems. It provides a broad coverage of leadership and management competencies, and the opportunity to develop a specialisation or pursue extensive development of business competencies.
A bachelor degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent, at least three years relevant work experience and completion of five CPA program units or program segments if completed prior to 2004, otherwise six CPA program units willbe required.
The Graduate Board of Examiners requires, unless there are exceptional circumstances, that those with more than two failures in the course or more than three units with grades below 60 per cent be excluded from the course, so as to maintain the high standard expected of such a prestigious qualification.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition is awarded for CPA membership by agreement with CPA Australia. Students who complete five units in the CPA program will be awarded 125 credits. Students who complete six CPA program units will be granted 150 credits.
This fee paying course involves the equivalent of seven MBA program units following completion of five CPA program units or, six MBA program units following the successful completion of six CPA program units. Availability of MBA units, work commitments and an intention to undertake this program may increase the course duration to two years.
Students must complete 300 credits. CPA graduates will receive recognition of prior learning for their CPA qualification.

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
