This major provides broad-based studies in human biology providing specialisations in applied human structure and function. It emphasises the development of laboratory skills and an understanding of the scientific process. Graduates are able to access and critically evaluate scientific literature and are competent communicators in oral and written presentations. Further study may lead to careers in research or teaching human biology in secondary schools.
