Introduction
This major provides students with the concepts and techniques for conducting research in gender studies, with a focus on Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Core themes include: cross-cultural encounters; gender and globalisation; gender; work and economy; social movements and social change; identities and representations; sexualities; families and households; rural and urban lives; colonialism and postcoloniality.
