This multidisciplinary course provides specialised advanced training for graduates or occupational health and safety practitioners with an emphasis on risk and safety management and occupational injury and disease prevention. It allows for a degreeof additional specialisation according to individual needs and upon successful completion provides entry into the Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Applicants for this course should refer to the Communicable Diseases and Criminal Record Screening and Clearance Section of this publication. Regular access to a computer and the internet will be required to undertake distance units.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
This fee paying course is two semesters part-time or one semester full-time with study principally conducted on an external basis. Full-time study is available if required subject to availability of units.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
