Syllabus: |
Designed to introduce and formalise students with the post-compulsory secondary English syllabi and develop the skills they will need in order to be effective english teachers. Focuses on specific areas of concern to English teachers, for eg, boys and literacy, development of inclusive curriculum and critical literacy. Students will undertake professional reading on these issues and will develop teaching/learning strategies which will ensure they are addressed in their classroom. |
