Clinical Practice: 1 x 4 Hours Weekly
 
Syllabus: Not available until 2006. This unit is industry-based and covers the development and practical applications of leadership and management skills to achieve the objectives of health programs in administrative and community settings. It also provides training opportunities to develop skills in public communication and stakeholder negotiation. Students are attached to a health service unit or branch and must demonstrate a number of core competencies through a supervised project designed to challenge their abilities to create and realise a vision, and to plan, implement and evaluate areas of health services. Students also undertake a supervised project designed to broaden their knowledge of the health system.
