Deformation mechanisms, stress and strain theory, Mohr circle, strain analysis, compressional and tensional structures, thrust faults, deformation partitioning, structural reactivation, geometric analysis, microstructures. Processes of mountain building.Evolution of igneous rocks - chemical diagrams, petrogenesis, mantle composition and crustal processes. Evaluation of rock associations in terms of plate tectonic processes. |
