Syllabus: Relationship between data and information. The techniques of collecting, recording, compiling and manipulating planning data and literature. Measurement of quality and quantity, accuracy, reliability of tendency and trend measures and projections. Problem identification and definition, hypothesis testing, analytical method, applied experimental design, policy translation and evaluation of research quality.
