307519 v.2 Viticultural Management MajorIntroductionThis major provides students with agribusiness management and marketing education and training combined with technical training in principles of viticulture, grape and wine production and sensory evaluation. Provides an opportunity to maximise Western Australia's competitive advantage by meeting the need for management and marketing skills education in the viticulture industry. This major combines key viticultural and wine science units with marketing, finance and management units. The learning model enables students to gain skills in communication, information technology, teamwork and cross-cultural skills which will enable them to assume leadership within the viticultural industry as well as in the broader agribusiness sector.
