Units and project topics often explore problems of continuing or emerging significance and often will relate strongly to relevant problems of industry and government. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesEntry to the masters course requires a strong academic record in an appropriate postgraduate diploma or an appropriate honours degree of at least second class level. Students who do not meet the entrance requirements fully will be required to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science, or enrol in specific units, as determined by the Department's coordinator of postgraduate studies. Students may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process. Course OrganisationA substantial proportion of the study program will comprise postgraduate units in geographic information science.
