Introduction
This course is designed to improve the professional skills of those employed in local government as building surveyors, and is designed to meet the minimum requirement for a Building Surveying Level 1 accreditation.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A TAFE Certificate, Municipal Building Surveyors Certificate, Diploma, Associate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Building Surveying and have at least five years senior experience in building surveying.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is normally four semesters part-time study.
Intermediate Awards
A student who has successfully completed all requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Building Surveying may apply under exceptional circumstance provisions for graduation in that award subject to the approval of the Head of School/Department. For further definition refer to the Statement of Awards section under General Information.
