Syllabus:

The nature and purpose of operations research. Overview of important prototype problems - inventory, queuing, project management, simulation, mathematical programming. Linear programming - formulation, solution techniques, post optamality analysis. Use of Linear Programming computer programs and case studies. Game theory.
