Syllabus:

Introduction to the chemistry of s, p and d block elements.This is a conversion course to enable students who have passed Chemistry 117 and 118 to take units having Chemistry 101 and 102 as prerequisites. Atomic theory - s, p, d orbitals. Molecular orbital theory, hybridisation, coordination compounds.
