Syllabus:

Direct methods for linear systems of equations, iterative methods, computation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors, solution of non linear systems of equations, data smoothing, least squares solutions, trigonometric series, Fourier analysis, digital filtering concepts, fast Fourier transforms, splines, one and two dimensional applications.
