Syllabus:

Contemporary Critical Issues 411, 'Ways of Knowing', focuses on methodologies of various cultural, literary and media studies/theories, together with the methodologies of dissertation production within the contemporary university. Emphasis is on the historically specific cultural assumptions, and on the theoretical premises that underlie such methodologies, as well as on students gaining practical skills relevant to thesis research and writing.
