Syllabus:

A focus on medium scale framed building design - floor, wall and roof systems. Cladding material selection, system connections, related structural principles - roof drainage, general weatherproofing. Introduction to the role of consultants. Undertaking project-based design exercises in workshop tutorials - liaise with structural engineers and access related building construction sites.
