Syllabus: |
Provides graduate practitioners with advanced skill and theory development in the field of work place downsizing, management duty of care, work time flexibility and employment restructuring of welfare agencies. In recent years the corporate and commercial nature of social work organisations have tested the communication ability of managers to work cooperatively with other professional staff. A number of current approaches in mediation around the use of risk management, quality work improvement, governance and executive coaching techniques has provided a medium for exploring new approaches in team work and leadership collaboration. An exploration of such dimensions and the skills and theory needed to facilitate mediation methodology in the corporate welfare environment. |
