Syllabus: |
Introduction to the basic concepts and principles of process design, including selection of equipment, safety issues and simple economic analysis. Use of computer simulation packages for process design, including Hysys and ASPEN. Exercises in process integration using computer aided process design techniques in simple design projects. |
