Syllabus:

Introduction and examination of the historical and technological developments in which multimedia has emerged within which design plays a significant role. Consequences of digital convergence for the professional practice of design and design production-visual and audio - visual communication, against a backdrop of the broader social and global information technology scenario. New fields of specialisation together with emerging opportunities for professional practice and cultural production.
