Syllabus:

Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics as well as the SPSS computer based statistical package. Selected topics covered include - measurement, central tendency and variability, the normal distribution, z-scores, the t-test, one way analysis of variance, bivariate correlation and regression, the chi-square test and non-parametric alternatives.
