Syllabus:

Examines current Australian heritage management in context of the history and development of ideas of cultural heritage, the ideology and effect of conservation movements, and the Burra Charter philosophy. Cultural significance is explored with reference to changing community values, ideas of authenticity, socially and politically contested heritage, legal regimes, tourism, access and interpretation.
