Syllabus:

Introduction to Ecological Principles covering natural cycles, biogeochemical processes, ecological concepts and relationships. Environmental Pressures in Australian and Global Context - population, consumption, energy and materials use. State of the Australian Environment with regard to atmosphere and Air Quality, Water, Rivers, Wetlands and Coasts, and Biodiversity and Land Management. Students are to attend a 3 hour lecture once every three weeks.
