Syllabus: |
Sustainable industry through Cleaner Production and Eco-Efficiency. Generic Eco-Efficiency principles and Cleaner Production practices and methods. Impacts on productivity and profitability. Historic development of Cleaner Production, Eco-Efficiency and related preventive environmental management concepts in different parts of the world. Principles and examples of Life Cycle Design/Design for the Environment. Environmental management systems and standards (ISO 14001). Students are to attend a 3 hour lecture once every three weeks. |
