Syllabus:

Introduction to dosage form design and includes basic metrology relevant to pharmacy. A number of physical concepts such as solubility and the solid state are included. Relevant unit operations, particle size and comminution are considered. In addition arange of dosage forms are discussed and prepared in the laboratory.
