Syllabus:

History of United Kingdom and Western Australian land law. Statutes and regulations governing authorised surveys in Western Australia. Foundation and development of professional ethics, history of land surveying, the profession, legal implications and responsibilities for those involved in professional surveying practice. Process of cadastral field operations under various Acts dealing with the processes of land development and administration in Western Australia.
