Duration and AvailabilityThe course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Course OrganisationStudents enrolled in the double degree program may elect to transfer to a single degree course in one of the two disciplines. In this event, the relevant Head of School shall determine the amount of credit to be transferred to the single degree. Professional RecognitionGraduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Health Promotion Association. Career OpportunitiesThere is an increasing demand for health professionals who have administration, management and marketing skills. Typically, graduates would seek careers in non-government or community-based health agencies and government health departments. It is particularly relevant for jobs in government health departments and in community agencies involved with health related areas such as alcohol and other drugs, injury control, disease control, heart disease prevention, cancer control, road safety, research, sponsorship and community development and capacity building.
