The course prepares students for managerial responsibilities in the mining industry, prepares for operational management at both quarry and underground managers levels, and satisfies the entry requirements for the postgraduate study of mining engineering. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesAt least a three year bachelors degree in geology, mine surveying, engineering or science from a recognised institution. Specific RequirementsStudents are required to complete an approved first aid course prior to being eligible for the award. Course fees must be met by the student. Recognition of Prior LearningNo recognition of prior learning is considered for this course. The course will be structured to suit the individuals background. Duration and AvailabilityThis course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. This course can be taken on an external basis.
