A Major (consisting of the equivalent of 12 full units) must include at least the equivalent of four full third year units. Instead of a second Major, students may include a four full unit minor and eight full elective units in their course. Students undertaking the Special Purpose Program in Public Relations instead undertake a program of an equivalent of 24 full units with optional units selected from a list provided. The following minors are also available - anthropology, geography, history, politics, sociology, development studies, environmental management, gender studies in social sciences, globalisation studies, international relations, sport and society, tourism, work and entertainment in the new economy and south asian studies.
