This multi-disciplinary course provides specialised advanced training for graduates with a responsibility for occupational health and safety management.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites


A bachelors degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary education institution.

Specific Requirements


Evidence of completion of a Senior First Aid Certificate must be provided in order for this course to be awarded. Applicants for this course should refer to the Communicable Diseases and Criminal Record Screening/Clearance Section of this publication.

Recognition of Prior Learning


Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability


This fee paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study. It is conducted principally in external mode, with some optional units available on an internal basis.
