116430 v.6 English Language Bridging Course for International StudentsIntroductionThe course is designed for international students needing to develop their English language proficiency in order to meet Curtin's literacy requirement. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesThis course is only available for International Students with an English proficiency level of not less than IELTS band 5 in all four skill areas, or a TOEFL score of 520 or a CUTE D (in addition to the University's standard entry requirements). Duration and AvailabilityThis course is one semester full-time study. Due to legislative and immigration provisions part-time mode is not available to International students. Course OrganisationStudents undertake all four units over one semester. Additional Course ExpensesStudents may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
