Syllabus: | This unit provides a theoretical grounding in the management of risk and uncertainty for businesses, with particular emphasis on risk management in food chains. It develops frameworks and techniques for categorising, analysing and planning for risk management and then applies them to situations faced by firms in food chains. Although this unit is focussed on the food industry, the concepts and models used are applicable in broader business settings. |
