Energetics and thermodynamics: systems and properties, Energy, temperature and heat, Enthalpy and the first Law, Entropy and the Second Law, the Third Law, Free energy, Equilibrium and Chemical Potential. Heterogeneous processes: surfaces, Adsorption and adsorption isotherms, rate of reaction - activation limited and mass transport limited. |
